Um. I told you so.

I and a score of Bible-believing Christians predicted that homosexual marriage would not be the last variant-lifestyle to seek “equality.” Gay advocates have blasted us for saying it, but we’ve said it nonetheless.

We also predicted that these varieties would rush in on America with such vigor that even the pro-gay community would be surprised.

Well. Um. I told you so.

  1. Eagle Rising gives us a glimpse into what they call “The New America” here where three lesbians have gotten married to each other and are expecting a baby. In the video, the benefits of “poly-fidelity” are paraded.
  2. The Northern Colorado Gazette is one of many periodicals to report that in light of the “alternative lifestyle” redefinition – pushed, kicked, and beaten through by the homosexual community – pedophiles are stepping out and garnering psychological “proof” that they too are just another “alternative lifestyle” deserving of inclusion. Read here what’s happening in American, and don’t be surprised to find out it’s happening all over the world (Iraq, Europe – According to Putin).
  3. And these are just two examples of the multitude of groups pushing for their aberrant lifestyles.

Come on, folks. We told you this would happen. More importantly, God told you this would happen.

Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. 25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.

28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32 and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.” Romans 1:24-32

“Same-Sex Attraction in the Church” – Nick Roen

Same-Sex Attraction in the Church

Nick Roen did something very hard.

Nick did something most of us have spent our entire lives trying to avoid.

He was honest about his temptation.

This video cannot circulate fast enough because it speaks to both sides of the equation:

  1. For those struggling with temptation of any kind, heed Nick’s admonition.
  2. For those relating to people struggling with temptation, point them to God.

“The Shattering of Jars of Clay” – Michael Brown

Shattering of Jars of Clay

I applaud you Mr. Brown.

You said what needed to be said in very clean, concise language.

For me, the bumpy-spot in my ergonomic wrist-support is the fact that lead singer of a very well-known Christian rock group is the one renaming sin.

My mom always told me, “Stupid people do stupid things; don’t let it surprise you.” I expect the world to embrace sin and throw out God’s prescription for life . . . but I always look on in awe when I see professing Christians (and veritably iconic ones at that) calling right what God calls wrong!

I know. I shouldn’t be surprised.

It’s a scary thing to watch, though, because I cannot help but realize that the following verse was written in prophecy of Mr. Dan Haseltine and those like him:

“[Jesus] said to His disciples, ‘It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to him through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble.” Luke 17:1-2
